    2. List of documents to be submitted for nomination: A working professional can nominate an 'Eligible Individual' (or Self Nominate) for the VIWA 2024. Following are the list of documents to be submitted for nomination

    • 2.1 The filled VIWA 2024 Application Form

    • 2.2 Duly completed curriculum vitae (of any format/pages) in a PDF format

    • 2.3 Passport size photograph (JPEG/PNG format)

    • 2.4 Copy of Degree certificates (PhD or Equivalent) in a PDF/JPEG/PNG format

    • 2.5 Copy of the workplace ID (PDF/JPEG/PNG format)


    1.3 Mode of Submission: Submit each nomination electronically to

    Note

    • a) The VIWA 2024 no longer requires a hardcopy of the application

    • b) Non-compliant nominations will not be accepted for process/review

2. Judging Criteria

  • 2.1 The VIWA 2024 judging is a peer review process. The panel (from diverse backgrounds, working individually) is instructed to score entries from 0 to 100, using the criteria.

  • 2.2 The VIF aggregates the scores to determine each category. The panel decision is final and binding. For each category/discipline (Eg. Outstanding Researcher – Science) the expert committee will select 3 nominees.

  • 2.3 However the Apex Committee reserve the rights to honour less or more than 3 nominees in any category who meet standards set by the expert committee.

  • 2.4 The committee will use discretion if an individual is nominated for two concurrent awards and will move the nomination to appropriate category based on their judgment.

  • 2.5 If a nominee meets the criteria for an award, other than the one nominated for, the committee will be deciding to move the nomination to a suitable category.

    Registration Fee


    • The Women Award is part of the Annual Women's Meet – AWM; and the AWM is a self-supporting event and the event registration fees are the major source of revenue for running the event.

    • All the (Administrative – Materials and Hall – Service Tax and Accounting – Website Design and Maintenance) expenses of the events are covered by the event income (registration fees from the participants) and Foundation operating funds.

Entry Conditions – ENTRY BY INVITATION ONLY


For the "Comfort, Safety and Enjoyment" of all delegates attending this event, Please be advised of the following norms.

Entry to the venue is subject to complying the conditions and we appreciate your help to make this happen.

  • 1. Entry

    1.1 The Registered Delegate can collect the VALID ENTRY TICKET from the Registration Desk.

    1.2 The Guests/Accompanying Persons must have a VALID ENTRY TICKET to enter the Event Hall. The Delegates can get required number of Entry Ticket at the Registration Desk.


  • 2. Refusal of Entry or Ejection

    2.1 Failure to produce/show a VALID ENTRY TICKET may result in refusal of entry.

    2.2 Any person found not to be wearing an official event wristband/ID Card will be ejected from the event.

    2.3 Any person gaining unauthorized access or causing a disturbance or refusing to comply with requests from Security/Staff will be ejected from the event.

    2.4 You will be responsible for your belongings, do not leave them unattended. Possessions may be searched before entering the venue, during the event or when leaving the venue. If you refuse to participate in searches, you may be denied entry or asked to leave the venue.

  • 1.1 Professional appearance is an important aspect and the clothing must conform to a reasonable standard of decency relevant to the event

  • 1.2 The Delegates, Guests and Accompanying Persons must be appropriately dressed

  • 2.1 The behavior can influence the experience for you and others at an event and we expect a high standard of behavior at our venue. Consider other delegates when using mobile devices. During the Technical Sessions and ceremony they should be turned off or on silent

  • 2.2 At Venus, we are committed to providing a Friendly and Welcoming Environment for all, regardless of gender, ability, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and religion (or lack thereof)

  • 2.3 Participate in an authentic, active and collaborative way, so as to contribute to the health and longevity of this event

  • 2.4 Exercise consideration and respect in your speech and actions. Refrain from demeaning or discriminatory behavior

Frequently Asked Questions - VIWA 2023!

Q1. The program?
Ans: Venus International Women Awards (VIWA) scheme was instituted in the year 2016 by the Centre for Advanced Research and Design (CARD) of Venus International Foundation (VIF). It is presented yearly during the Annual Women's Meet (AWM) that is conducted during March month of the year. The scheme has a Criteria, Standards, Regulations, Nomination Application, Expert Committee and Judging Process etc that are governed by the Board of Trust


Q2. What are the eligibility criteria to apply for VIWA 2019?

Q4. How many entrants win VIWA Awards?
Ans: For each discipline/subdivision (Eg. Distinguished Woman - Engineering), the expert committee will select 2 Nominees. However the Apex Committee reserve the rights to honour less or more than 2 nominees in any category who meet standards set by the expert committee.


Q5. Why the Winner has to Register for the AMW Program ?
Ans: AWM is a self-supporting event. The registration fees are the major source of revenue for running the event. All the expenses of the events (Planning, Promotion & Publicity, Equipment/Major Rentals, Photography, Lunch and Breaks, Materials, Gifts/Premiums, Publications, Taxes, Execution and Miscellaneous Costs, Website & Its Maintenance etc) are covered by the event income (registration fees from the participants) and Foundation operating funds.


Q6. After registering for the AWM, if the Winner is unable to attend the same, how to get the Award ?
Ans: We expect the Award Winner's presence on the day of Celebration. If not, She can depute a person to get the Award during the ceremony. (or) VIWA team will send the Award Certificate and Memento via courier to the Winner's Address during the 1st week of April 2022. However, as soon as the Winner register for the event, Her name will appear in the Award Winners List, Her Profile will be uploaded in the Web page & Her details will be included in the VIWA Report
