Dr. Mukta Bansal is a lecturer at the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (SCBE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Dr. Bansal has several years of teaching experience. She has joined NTU in Feb 2014. Prior to that, she was working with Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at NUS. Her research areas focuses mainly on Supply Chain Management, Supplier Procurement, Logistics, Optimization, and Carbon reduction. Dr. Bansal is a recipient of several awards. She is awarded Inspiring Teacher and Mentor Award, SCBE, NTU Singapore, in July 2017.
She is been also awarded “Best Faculty Mentor” award for Temasek Foundation – LeaRN (TFLEARN, NTU Singapore) Programme, Nov 2015. She is also co-Principal Investigator of CAM.CREATE with large Funding Amount for IRP 3.5 Cambridge Centre for Carbon Reduction in Chemical Technology (C4T) (IRP 3: CAPRICON – Carbon Abatement in the Petroleum Refining Industry – A Control and Optimization Research Network). This is in collaboration with Cambridge University, UK.
